Every design from Georg Jensen Damask carries a story. A story of weaving techniques and proud traditions that date back centuries. Back to the founding of the company in 1756 and even further, to the 16th century, when weavers in the family behind Georg Jensen Damask exercised their skill at the loom.

Today, contemporary trends and expressions are woven into the textiles, as we work with textile artists, architects and designers to explore the full range of possibilities for creating ageless designs. From characteristic textures and beautiful details to retellings of patterns from our design archive. We are as passionate about aesthetics and functionality as we are about history and craftsmanship. All our products are woven with the purpose of bringing joy. Like little stories about quality, care and well-being. For the present and for the future.

Design and collaborations

Collections are always based on our DNA and Scandinavian design traditions. They primarily comprise textiles and accessories for the four most important rooms in any home: the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom. With a focus on aesthetics and functionality, we create simple and timeless designs which are also of contemporary relevance. Our internal design team works closely with other designers and weavers, each of whom add something unique to our collection.
